Hauzt is building a catalog of places to eat across the UK. This early map shows restaurants, cafes, pubs and takeaways from the Food Standards Agency and Food Standards Scotland hygiene-data downloads.
Locations use the source latitude and longitude, not postcode replacements. A PASS means the source point is within 1 km of its reference postcode point; it does not certify an address. Review and lookup-error records are retained.
Northern Ireland BT postcodes are a special case: source coordinates are shown without a licensed postcode check. Their lookup-error flag does not by itself mean the location is wrong. Unmappable coordinates are reported, not silently moved or clamped.
Source records may be incomplete or out of date. Inclusion does not confirm that a business is open and is not an endorsement or dietary-safety claim.
